DESCRIPTION
An original vintage brass wall sconce marked with "TEF IP65". This reclaimed brass explosion-proof wall light was manufactured by Tranberg, a Norwegian company renowned for producing high-quality marine and industrial lighting solutions. Tranberg's products are known for their durability and reliability, especially for use in demanding environments. Characterized with a brass construction, protective cage, and tempered glass these features are typical of explosion-proof lights intended for hazardous locations, ensuring safety and resilience. These wall sconces were built for use in marine and industrial settings where explosion-proof fixtures are essential. The brass construction not only provides corrosion resistance but also adds a timeless aesthetic, making such fixtures popular for both functional and decorative applications today. This brass cage light was designed with an IP65 rating, which means it was waterproof, however due to the lamps age, we cannot guarantee the IP rating today. We would advise if you would like to use them outdoors to let us know and we can lacquer them.
We restore these lights with new electrical components which comply with CE certification. For the USA we send light fixtures fitted with UL listed components and lamp holders. Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.
For further information about import duty & tax to your country, please check the courier website. We are unable to calculate the import tax on your behalf.
RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
