DESCRIPTION
This is a bespoke Suez Canal searchlight floor lamp which we have fitted with a bespoke Edison LED filament tube arrangement. The bespoke lamp arrangement comprises 10 Edison LED filament 30cm tubes which can be changed easily. Access to the lamps is by removal of the glass front and simply unscrewing the lamps.
A Suez Canal searchlight is a special searchlight that ships must have on board to pass through the Suez Canal. The searchlight must be installed on the ship's centreline and meet strict specifications. The purpose of the light is to clearly show the canal at night and search signal buoys on either side of the canal.
This searchlight was made by the Korean company Daeyang who manufacture a range of fixtures and fittings for industrial settings. It is made of stainless steel body, cast aluminium arm, frame and base. It has a high quality tempered glass front and a parabolic polished glass reflector internally. It has a split beam which can be adjusted vertically up to 5 degrees on either side of the centreline.

Import Duty & Tax
Please note that orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to custom import & duties. All imported commercial goods are subject to customs duties and taxes based on their HS Code tariff classification.
The importer/customer is responsible for paying the duty & tax. Loomlight are not responsible for these costs. We use DHL or FedEx for worldwide deliveries and they require payment of this tax before they can deliver your order.
For further information about import duty & tax to your country, please check the courier website. We are unable to calculate the import tax on your behalf.
RETURNS
Returns
If you wish to return a product, please let us know within 14 days of delivery at hello@loomlightdesign.com and we shall organise that with you. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged so that we can resolve the matter.
For a refund, items must be unused, returned in the original packaging and in a re-saleable condition. We will refund the product price only, once we have fully processed the return. Return shipping is at the cost of the customer.
